Located in the heart of El Cajon, LFCS began as a K-3 program on one campus in 2001 with 5 teachers and 100 students. It was founded by a veteran teacher who has a passion for education and truly looks for the joy in learning. Along with a small but dedicated team they worked to make magic out of old desks, portable walls, used textbooks, and big ideas. LFCS made a commitment to hire staff who are passionate about teaching and incorporate research-proven techniques that work!
